Nepal is the only country in the world where honouring dogs is part of a national festival. Nepali communities in Darjeeling, Sikkim and around the world celebrate it too. - Count every street dog in Nepal, with a photo and a place, in one shared register that NGOs and municipalities can use to plan feeding, vaccination and sterilisation.नेपालका हरेक सडक कुकुर गन्ने, फोटो र ठाउँसहित, एउटै साझा अभिलेखमा, ताकि संस्था र नगरपालिकाले खाना, खोप र बन्ध्याकरणको योजना बनाउन सकून्।
- List every vet, shelter, welfare group, foster and caretaker, so help for a dog is one tap away, and highlight who offers free or low-cost care.हरेक पशु चिकित्सक, आश्रय, पशु कल्याण संस्था र हेरचाहकर्ताको सूची बनाउने, ताकि कुकुरलाई मद्दत एक ट्यापमै पाइयोस्, र निःशुल्क वा सस्तोमा उपचार गर्नेहरूलाई अगाडि देखाउने।

Help reaches itमद्दत पुग्छ
Dogs that are hurt, sick or hit by a vehicle are flagged, and the nearest vet or shelter is one tap away. Find help.

- Vets, shelters and welfare groups: list yourself, especially if you treat dogs in need for free or at low cost.पशु चिकित्सक, आश्रय र पशु कल्याण संस्था: आफ्नो नाम दर्ता गर्नुहोस्, विशेष गरी मद्दत चाहिने कुकुरको निःशुल्क वा सस्तोमा उपचार गर्नुहुन्छ भने।
- Foster, adopt or care for a dog: register and volunteers will get in touch.कुकुरलाई अस्थायी घर दिन, पाल्न वा हेरचाह गर्न: दर्ता गर्नुहोस्, स्वयंसेवकले सम्पर्क गर्नेछन्।

Completely free, no ads. No sign-up: open the app and snap (the app is coming soon). Adding your name is optional.

What happens when I photograph a dog?कुकुरको फोटो खिचेपछि के हुन्छ?
The photo and the place go on the map. Volunteers, NGOs and municipalities use the count to plan feeding, vaccination and sterilisation. If the dog is hurt or sick, it’s flagged so help can reach it.

Does the app track my location?एपले मेरो स्थान ट्र्याक गर्छ?
No. It only records where a dog was photographed, when you save it. Nothing runs in the background. See the privacy policy.

What if several people photograph the same dog?एउटै कुकुरको फोटो धेरैले खिचे भने?
The app asks “Is this the same dog?” when a known dog is nearby, and volunteers merge any duplicates, so each dog is counted once, with a history.
नजिकै चिनिएको कुकुर भए एपले “यो उही कुकुर हो?” भनेर सोध्छ, र स्वयंसेवकले दोहोरिएका रेकर्ड मिलाउँछन्। यसरी हरेक कुकुर एक पटक मात्र गनिन्छ।
I found an injured dog. What should I do?घाइते कुकुर भेटेँ। के गर्ने?
Open Find help for the nearest vet, shelter or rescue group and call them. Once the app is out, you can also report the dog there so volunteers see it.

Are you asking for money?के तपाईंहरू पैसा माग्दै हुनुहुन्छ?
No. Hamro Kukur is free and run by volunteers, and we are not asking anyone for money. Our first job is to count every dog in Nepal. If we ever raise money in the future, every rupee will be public on this site.
